Maharashtra rules for staff transport in Pune

Pune follows Maharashtra's shops and establishments law. Under Rule 13 of the 2018 Rules, an office can keep women on duty between 9:30 pm and 7 am if they agree and the employer drops them home in safe, separate transport.
Night staff need police verification. An office with ten or more women on the night shift must have women guards and display helpline numbers.
The 2025 amendment rules are reported to add home pickup and drop, 45 days of CCTV recording and at least two women on duty. Confirm the current conditions with your compliance team.

Planning staff transport in Pune

Hinjewadi traffic is slow through the morning and evening peaks. Start pickups earlier for Phase 3, and expect the drive out of the park to take longer than the drive in.
Pune airport is at Lohegaon, close to Viman Nagar and Kharadi and a long drive from Hinjewadi. Book Hinjewadi airport runs with a wide margin.
Chakan is roughly 30 km from central Pune, and plant shifts start early. Share shift timings well ahead so drivers are placed close to the first pickup.
For offsites in Lonavala or Mumbai airport runs, the Mumbai-Pune Expressway is the usual route. Allow extra time on weekends and during monsoon ghat traffic.
