How outing transport is priced

The rate per km is only one line. Ask for all of these.
  • Outstation

Per km with a daily minimum

The trip is billed by kilometres driven, with a minimum per day even if the vehicle stays parked at the resort.

Best for: Offsites and trips out of the city.

  • Per day package

A set number of hours and km per day within the city. Extra hours and km at agreed rates.

Best for: Local outings and training days.

  • Extras at actuals

Tolls, parking, state entry taxes and the driver allowance, shown as separate lines.

Best for: Knowing the final bill before you travel.

Planning the day: what makes outings run on time

  • One pickup point if you can. Each extra stop adds 15 to 20 minutes in city traffic. Office or one metro station works best.
  • Leave early, come back before dark on hill and ghat roads. It is safer and the drive is shorter.
  • Count luggage, not just people. A full Tempo Traveller with overnight bags can be tight. Leave seats spare or add a car.
  • Share a final list with a mobile number for each vehicle lead, so the driver knows who to call.
  • Agree the return time in advance. A driver who has driven five hours needs rest before driving back.

Frequently asked questions

How many people fit in a Tempo Traveller?

Common models seat roughly 12 to 26 passengers, excluding the driver. For an overnight trip, leave a few seats free or ask for a model with a luggage carrier, because bags take more room than people expect.

How is an outstation trip priced?

Usually per kilometre with a minimum distance per day, plus a daily driver allowance. Tolls, parking and state entry taxes are added at actuals, and a night charge applies if the vehicle drives late at night. Ask for each of these in the quote so the final bill matches it.

Can one vehicle stay with us for a two or three day offsite?

Yes. The vehicle and driver stay with your group for the whole trip, so you can use them for local movement at the destination too. The driver needs a place to stay, which the driver allowance usually covers. Confirm this with the resort.

Is it safe to travel at night on an outstation trip?

We plan departures so the driver isn't driving tired, and we avoid long night stretches on hill and ghat roads. If the plan needs a very late return, a second driver or an overnight stop is safer, and we will say so when we quote.

How far in advance should we book?

Two to three weeks for a weekend offsite, more around long weekends and year-end, when Tempo Travellers book out fast. For a local outing a few days can be enough. Send the date and headcount through the enquiry form or email hello@corporatecarrent.com.

Plan transport for your team outing

Send us the city, headcount, timings and dates. We reply with vehicle options and a quote, usually the same working day.
